CORSICA: LE BOCCHE DI BONIFACIO - PIANA ISLAND - CAVALLO ISLAND - SANTA MANZA - SANTA GIULIA BAY
“Southern Corsica and the charming Port of Bonifacio”
(Round trip cruising time: aprox. 4h according to the departure harbour)
Corsica is undoubtedly one of the most appreciated destinations. Easily accessible by crossing the channel that separates Sardinia from Corsica, known as Le Bocche di Bonifacio. The Southern end of Corsica is about 22 Nm from Porto Cervo (Nautical Miles). Depending on various factors, the journey varies from about 1h to 1h30 max.
As soon as you leave the Sardinian coast behind, you will be able to see the mighty white cliffs of Bonifacio that outline the profile of Corsica.
Isola Piana will undoubtedly be your first destination. Adults and children will be delighted by the whiteness of its sand and of the crystal blu shallow waters. The peculiarity of this stretch of sea is given by a thin strip of very fine sand, which joins the Isola Piana to the mainland.

As an alternative to the natural beauties of Santa Manza and Santa Giulia, after a pleasant stop at the Islands of Piana, Lavezzi and Cavallo, you might consider going to lunch in Bonifacio.
You can choose from the popular sea-food restaurant of La Caravelle, right on the docks or from one of the several upper old town Restaurants.
